There are 3 main rivers; Sand River (seasonal), Talek River and Mara River. Talek River and the Mara River meet in the centre of the park and continue as the Mara River. It is famous for its wild cats and of course, the annual migration. It is also a great place for birding, seeing larger animals and game.
